Getting started
What is Ucanvas?+
Ucanvas is image animation and video editing for the modern web — create and edit right in your browser, no installs. It's currently in pre-launch; join the waitlist for early access.
How do I create an account?+
Click Sign up, then use your email and a password, or continue with Google. After signing in you land on your Projects page.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. Ucanvas runs entirely in your browser on any modern device.
When does Ucanvas launch?+
We're in private beta and rolling out access to the waitlist in waves. Join the waitlist to be invited.
Accounts & login
I signed in with Google — is that secure?+
Yes. We only request your name, email, and profile picture from Google, and never post to your account or access anything else. See our Privacy Policy for details.
I didn't get my confirmation email.+
Check your spam folder. If it's still missing after a few minutes, try signing up again or contact us and we'll confirm your account manually.
How do I change my name or password?+
Go to Account settings. You can update your display name and password there. To change your email, contact support.
How do I delete my account or data?+
Email us and we'll remove your account and personal data. See the Privacy Policy for your full rights under GDPR and CCPA.
Projects
What is a project?+
A project is a saved canvas or edit tied to your account — it stores its name, app, and canvas size. Create one from the Projects page with the New button, or start from a template.
Where are my projects saved?+
They're saved to your account automatically and appear under Recent projects, most-recently-opened first.
Is there a limit on projects?+
Yes, it depends on your plan — Free includes 5 projects, and paid plans raise or remove the limit. Your current usage is shown on the Projects page.
Plans & billing
Is there a free plan?+
Yes — the Free plan is free forever with a monthly export limit and a 5-project cap. Great for trying Ucanvas.
What is founder pricing?+
Waitlist members who upgrade at launch lock in a permanent discount on the Creator plan. It won't be offered again.
How do I upgrade?+
Visit Pricing to see plans. Payments aren't enabled during pre-launch — waitlist members get founder pricing when billing goes live.
Privacy & email
How do I unsubscribe from emails?+
Turn off the newsletter toggle on your dashboard, or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send.
Do you sell my data?+
No. We never sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what we collect and why.
Do you use tracking cookies?+
No advertising or third-party tracking. We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in, plus cookieless, privacy-friendly page analytics.
